A magical and unique setting of the delectable Amalfi Coast.From the centrally located Piazza dei Mulini, which is the last drivable section downtown, you will enjoy a very pleasant walk along a narrow downhill street leading to the seafront area passing by the cathedral, several outdoor cafes, hotels, green grocery & ceramic stores plus boutiques selling the Positano fashion Clothing. At the conclusion of your visit here, reaching the main coastal road we will lead to Amalfi,.

Amalfi

An ancient maritime republic .This coastal town is situated on a seafront port and a long stretch of pebbled beach. In front of the port of Amalfi, is the only bus station along the coast. Beyond the central square ( Piazza Duomo ) lies the main shopping street of Amalfi, that ends at the furthest and highest point of the town. Along the pedestrian street are various bars and cafes, not to mention the many shops selling limoncello, casual apparel, swimwear, gifts, basic groceries, and of course, ceramics. From Amalfi, crossing the Lattari Mountains, the drive towards Pompeii for a 2 hours visit to the archaeological site.

Pompeii

Part of an ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 A.D.

The remainder of the uncovered city is buried under the new Pompeii rebuilt many years after the eruption. Archeological excavations are open to the public between the hours of 08:30 and 18:30 every day of the week, and either guides or headphones can be rented, with voice recordings in many languages to explain the sites.

After Pompeii a 30 minutes drive back to the ship in Naples.
